Another great way to prepare your AC unit for the summer months is by changing the filters. This is one of the easiest ways to keep your system running efficiently and it is suggested that they get changed every few months for peak efficiency. If you have not changed the filters in some time, it is strongly suggested to change them out before running your system for the first time this year. 

Another easy way to have your AC ready for summer is by cleaning the coils on the outside of the unit. During the winter months things like mud, dust and debris can buildup, making it hard for your unit to run at its optimal efficiency. If you don’t have a cover for your unit, we suggest disconnecting the power to the unit and spraying It down with a garden hose to remove the unwanted debris.
